MayaDenise Gaskin, is an 18 year old Sophomore at the University of Arizona. She is a Broadcast Journalism major with hopes of becoming a sideline reporter for ESPN. MayaDenise has been dancing since the age of 2 and specializes in Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pom. For the past 5 years, MD has been an advocate for her personal platform Let’s Move! Together, fighting pediatric obesity. Through her work with Let’s Move! Together she has received the opportunity to speak to over 300 students in her community. During her year of service, she hopes to turn 300 into 3,000. MayaDenise wrote a children’s book entitled “Moving my way” which will be released in the Fall of 2022.
